Indigenous Peoples -Diversity & Inclusiveness (Canada)

Our Indigenous Peoples and Inclusion training focus on providing clients a solid understanding of Indigenous People’s thinking, values, beliefs, perceptions, interpretations, and heritage practices interwoven with implementation of the Best Practices of inclusion of Indigenous Peoples in the workplace.

The Indigenous Peoples culture, values, beliefs, behaviour, viewpoints, and expectations are very different than those of non-Indigenous Canadians.

Canada’s Indigenous Peoples consist of three distinct Groups: First Nations; Métis; and Inuit (aka “Eskimo”).

Canada’s Federal Government is firmly committed to achieving a significantly more successful reconciliation relationship and a strong partnership with Canada’s Indigenous Peoples. These enhanced Federal Government Indigenous Policies will be backed by Indigenous reconciliation and partnership legislation.

The stronger Indigenous inclusion and partnership commitments by the Federal Government to Canada’s Indigenous Peoples will have significant inclusion implications for Indigenous Peoples, non-Indigenous Canadians, companies, and the management and staff at organizations across Canada.

The Federal Government’s commitment is to achieve greater Indigenous equality; address social and economic gaps experienced by Canada’s Indigenous Peoples; and advancing Indigenous People’s self-determination.

The Rt. Hon. Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada stated on February 14, 2018: “….undo decades of mistrust, poverty, broken promises, and injustices” (source: https://pm.gc.ca).

I would be glad to customize our presentation to meet your specific requirements.
